SharePoint IDOL
This is an initiative that was launched at the Australia and New Zealand SharePoint Conferences in 2011, with huge success!
These events staged their own "IDOL Competition" for SharePoint. This was centered around PRODUCTS.
The Partner eco-system has a variety of products that help to enhance SharePoint, add new functionality and improve business processes. Get the run down, on what some of these things are, in a fast business related demonstration, that shows some of the amazing solutions out there! A selection of Product Vendors get 5 minutes each to demonstrate practical business solutions using their products.
A panel of judges will then evaluate and ask questions. You as the audience will vote in the best solution.
An exciting way to see the latest and greatest enhancements to SharePoint technologies. Join the fun 9:30-10:00 each day of the event. Prize draws during this session.
SharePoint Idol for Business - Case Studies
SharePoint Idol for Business is now coming to all our events!
The first SharePoint Idol’s were held at the Australia and New Zealand 2011 Conferences in March 201, and the next one will be at the Southeast Asia SharePoint Conference 2011 this November.
SharePoint Idol for Business is Real Life business scenarios of how SharePoint solves a particular problem or process, demonstrated in a short, snappy and entertaining manner.
Have you got a Case Study you want to share? The format will be similar to the SharePoint Idol at this year’s Australian or New Zealand events - see write up here and page here.
There will be limited slots - each contestant gets FIVE minutes ONLY - and presents how SharePoint helped their organisation improve productivity, streamline processes, solve any SIMPLE, but EFFECTIVE business problem or requirements.
There will be a couple of questions from our esteemed judging panel - and then the audience votes!
AND - there will be a prize - a BIG one! So if you are interested....send us an email on support@spevents.co.nz and we will keep you informed as the dates become closer.
This is a great way for people to share some of the cool initiatives they have put in place, and also to share these experiences with the wider community - so everyone else can also learn from them.
